Changing what farmingtakes for granted — from Kawagoe.

We are expanding a farming cycle where producers and consumers meet — from Kawagoe to the world.

Vision

Our Vision

Connecting each person's potential to the future.

Everyone realizing their own aspirations, and spreading places that make “what you want to do” come true, all over the world.

Rooted in agriculture, we connect food, communities and people to create new value — from our region to the world.

Our vision is to keep increasing the places where challengers gather, learn, grow and realize their dreams.

Mission

The questions we face

Expand the potential of agriculture

We want to change the image of farming as “hard and unprofitable,” turning it into a profitable industry the next generation wants to take on. Starting from a single grain of rice, we spread that sense of possibility across our region.

Open up the future of Japan's primary industry

A shrinking workforce, distribution where little profit remains for producers, and the reality of climate change. We confront the challenges of agriculture hands-on, as people standing in the field.

Build an agricultural ecosystem

We connect production, technology, experience and distribution into one, creating a cycle where producers and consumers intermingle — nurturing that system from Kawagoe.

Areas of our work

Value

The values we cherish

01

Stand in the field

Not armchair theory — we touch the soil ourselves and get muddy to find out.

02

Keep challenging

Try without fearing failure, learn and improve. We enjoy that accumulation.

03

Honor food & health

We make food people can eat with peace of mind, supporting their lives.

04

Create together

Producers, customers, the community — we treat everyone involved as partners.

05

Reach the world

We polish local value and look toward the world market beyond.

SoA Inc. was founded on March 5, 2026.

Our challenge is to expand human potential, and the potential of Japan, through agriculture. As a first step, we started our farming business in Kawagoe.

Japanese agriculture holds great untapped potential. Yet at the same time, high walls stand in the way of new challenges. Securing farmland, investing in equipment, acquiring skills, building a stable management foundation — even with ambition, taking that first step is far from easy.

I see this not merely as a problem, but as a great opportunity. If we can create an environment where anyone can take on the challenge, agriculture can give more people dreams and hope, and become a force that supports Japan's future.

In my previous career at East Japan Railway Company, I was involved in work that supports communities and people's daily lives. What I learned is that the future of a region is created by those who take on challenges. New value is born from people who sweat in the field and keep moving forward despite hardship.

That is why I stand on the farmland myself and keep taking on challenges, getting muddy in the process. Starting from rice growing, I want to connect agriculture with food, distribution, technology and many other fields to create new value.

What we aim to be is not merely a company that produces crops. It is to create a place where challengers gather, potential grows, and a new future is born.

I believe that small challenges beginning in Kawagoe will, in time, move our region and move Japan.

When more people speak of their dreams, Japan can grow further.
SoA Inc. believes in that future and will keep taking on challenges.

Business

Starting from rice — connecting and circulating.

With rice production in Kawagoe at our core, we expand into the technology that supports it and the experiences and distribution that connect producers and consumers.

Our core today

Rice production

We grow rice on our own farmland in Kawagoe, Saitama. Adapting to climate change, we select varieties in the field to protect quality and yield.

  • Now: Sai-no-Kizuna / Koshihikari
  • From next year: considering Niji-no-Kirameki, Emi-hokoro
  • Practicing the shift to heat-tolerant varieties

Supporting production

Use of technology

Using our own farmland as a proving ground, we test technologies for labor-saving and quality improvement in the field, accumulating cultivation know-how.

  • On-site implementation of AI & IoT
  • Both labor-saving and quality
  • Systematizing accumulated know-how

Connecting value

Experience & distribution

Using food and experience as the entry point, we build distribution that connects producers and consumers directly — so makers' intentions reach people as fair value.

  • Touchpoints through food & experience
  • Distribution where producers sell at fair prices
  • Lasting connection with fans

Business Model

A circular ecosystem starting from agriculture.

Production, processing, distribution, experience, consumption, reinvestment. SoA Inc. designs that cycle to create sustainable value for producers, communities and consumers alike.

Our Future

Toward the future, step by step.

As a newly founded company, we are not yet at a stage to boast achievements. That is exactly why we show where we are heading.

PHASE 1

Establishing production

Expanding rice production and building a sales base including direct sales and e-commerce.

PHASE 2

Creating places for food & experience

A place for food and a marché, then a stay-type experience facility, step by step.

PHASE 3

Toward a next-generation model

Systematizing the model honed in Kawagoe, looking to markets across Asia and the world.

Where We Work

Our base

Where we work is

Kawagoe, Saitama.

Located near the center of Saitama, Kawagoe is a historic castle town known as “Little Edo.” With good access from central Tokyo, this is where our activity begins.

Here we run our headquarters and own farm (3.8 ha of active farmland), growing Sai-no-Kizuna and Koshihikari — also serving as a proving ground for AI and IoT.
